Kit Designer

A 2D team uniform designer for sportswear brands and manufacturers. Your customers design their kit on your website (garment, style, colors, names, numbers, logos and their own artwork), see the front and back, and send the design to you with a quote request.

What it does

• 9 garments: American football, flag football, basketball, baseball, softball, T-shirts (half and full sleeve), hoodie and varsity jacket, with pants or shorts where they belong.
• Styles and colors: panel styles, sublimation art and patterns, a color for every part, and V-neck, crew-neck and button options.
• Names and numbers: on the front, back, sleeves and shoulders, plus text down the side of the pants that can be turned to any angle.
• Logos and custom prints: up to 3 logos, and the customer’s own artwork on the jersey and pants, front and back.
• Easy on phones: drag to move, pinch to resize, twist to rotate. On a computer, a selected item gets resize and rotate handles.
• Quote requests: the customer adds a team roster and contact details. You get an email with the design image, a written summary and their files.

Add it to a WordPress site

1. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload cns-kit-designer.zip and activate it.
2. Open Settings → Kit Designer. Enter the email that should receive design requests, your brand name and the products you make.
3. Add this shortcode to any page: [kit_designer]. To show only some products: [kit_designer products="football,basketball"].

If request emails don’t arrive, install an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP. If the preview slides under a fixed site header, set Space above the preview in the settings to the header’s height.

Add it to any other website

Kit Designer is also a plain JavaScript library with no dependencies. Add the two files and one line of setup:

The quote form posts to your own address (quote.action), or you can handle it in JavaScript with onSubmit. Colors, accent, products and texts can all be set to match your site.
